Fishing on Deer Lake
Deer Lake’s many miles of shoreline and underwater structure provide a challenge to those who fish. Deer Lake is probably best known for it’s production of trophy Muskie, but it also produces a lot of nice Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike!
Due to its cool water, Deer Lake seems to have its best fishing during the hotter weather when other lakes in the area slow down. We’ll show you our favorite fishing spots as long as you share your pictures!
If you are too lazy to take a boat out, just fish from the bench at the end of the dock. You’ll catch mostly Smallmouth and Rockbass, but occasionally catch a Walleye or a Pike. Each cabin comes with a 14 foot aluminum boat. We have motors for rent or you are free to bring your own. Comfort Cove harbor will protect your large boat.
