Fishing on Deer Lake
Deer Lake’s many miles of shoreline and underwater structure provide a challenge to those who love to fish. Though Deer Lake is probably best known for it’s production of trophy Muskie, it also produces a lot of nice Walleye, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike!
Walleyes are most numerous in the spring while Muskie thrive towards the end of the fall season. Find your own secluded fishing spot or ask us and we will be happy to share the best areas for any type of fishing for any season; spring, summer or fall.
Each cabin comes with a 14 foot aluminum boat and we have motors for rent or bring your own for a memorable Muskie or Walleye fishing experience and Comfort Cove harbor is perfect for protecting your large boat from the elements.
If the day is simply too calm and laziness calls to you, cast a line from the bench at the end of the dock. You’ll catch mostly Smallmouth and Rockbass, but occasionally you might catch a Walleye or a Pike.
For a relaxing and enjoyable evening out on the lake, ask Steve about a pontoon fishing charter or cocktail cruise!
